Pure Date workshop >>

"Just finished teaching how to make strange sounds. It went brilliantly. It's a really hard thing to teach because it's very difficult to approach it but it's always good to know people have taken something out of the workshop. I used it last night for my performance in the bar [TPWNN] generating some of the visuals and music.. showing it in both contexts" Justin Randell Workshop Tutor www.access.lowtech.org/TPWNN

"It was very interesting. I came out of general interest, I wanted to go to the apple workshop but it got canceled. I've got a background in music so I was very interested to see programmes relating to music. I've got a few web links but I'm not on the computer side at all, programming is very difficult. On the other hand seeing the visual representations of things being done in music is quite an interesting way of conceptualising things" Liz Price
"This years Lovebytes is much better than last years. I'm at the pure data workshop, very interesting, I'm running a speech synthesiser thing here, it's been informative, I'll load this software up myself and play with it. I saw Chris Watson last night, very interesting and General Magic was awesome" Bill Best CMA

"I've just done the workshop on pure data. I definitely learnt a lot, Justin managed to very quickly synthesis all the areas and in two hours you've got a very clear picture of what it's all about. This was one of my big attractions to the festival so I'm going to see other stuff now as I only got here before the workshop" Paul smith - West of England Uny
