"I'm
involved with SightSonic, which is York's International
Digital Arts Festival, and have worked with Lovebytes who have
provided us with some great programming.
This
was the first time I'd been able to get over to Lovebytes and
it was worth the trip, I only wish I could have stayed for
more. My favourite was the installation in Persistence Works
[DPS3 - Dextro],
with the Minim++ Shadow installations in the Site Gallery a
close second. I also like the range of events - the 'masterclasses'
from the industry and, thanks to Michael Carter of Aardman,
a new term has entered my vocabulary - 'mouse monkey', plus
the films and the artists' talks. Thanks to Lovebytes, and
I hope people who came to Sheffield can make it to
SightSonic in
York during October
