General Magic and Tina Frank (Germany and Austria).
General Magic is a duo consisting of Ramon Bauer and Andi Pieper, co-leaders of the Mego label (along with Peter Rehberg). GM's favourite "playgrounds" are software exploration, ski pistes and motor sport circuits, whilst they also brilliantly demonstrate how to create post-modern hymns with shards of popular music. GM play here with a visual accompaniment - Tina Frank, a graphic artists with uniquely pixelated visions, previously collaborating with GM and others on Mego videos and a former member of the audio/visual band SKOT.
