2.2 Project Title

2.3 Project Details
Give a brief outline of your project in no more than 200 words. This information will be used for initial assessment and assigning your project to a specific fund / selection panel meeting. Please write in the space provided, otherwise your project will not be considered. You will have an opportunity to give us further information on your project in the attachments in Section Five. SECTION 3 / OUTPUTS

3.1 Impact on Yorkshire
Funding for these commissions comes from Yorkshire Arts, Yorkshire Media Production Agency and the European Regional Development Fund. These funds are aimed at supporting creative activity and economic development in the Yorkshire region. As such we are looking to support projects which have an impact on the Yorkshire area. This may be through supporting artists, organisations or company's based in Yorkshire or projects which impact positively through exhibition, workshops, presentations or production here. You may be asked to provide further details if your project is shortlisted.

SECTION 4 / BUDGET

4.1 Total Project Budget
Please include the total cost of your proposed project. This should include any funding you have from other sources as well as funding 'in kind'. Return to question 4.1

4.2 Amount applied for
Please write the amount you are applying to Lovebytes for. This may be the same figure as in 4.1 (Total Project Costs) as we are not only looking to commission projects which have match funding in place. Return to question 4.2

4.3 Partnership Funding
Please list any funding you do have in place or are applying to other sources for. You should include the amount, funding body/partner and indicate whether funds are committed or applied for. Return to question 4.3

SECTION 5 / ATTACHMENTS

5.1 Project outline
This should include further information on your project in addition to the 200 words supplied on the application form. It should be a concise and clear description of the project, technical treatment, any technical help you may require from Lovebytes and proposed distribution formats / methods. No more than 1 A4 side. Return to question 5.1

If you are proposing to develop a CD Rom/DVD etc. to be distributed and sold independently of Lovebytes you should include a MARKETING STRATEGY for your project as well as an indication of the AUDIENCE for the project. Costs for duplication and marketing should also be included in your budget. No more than 1xA4 side.

5.2 Script
For Experimental Digital Video / Animation projects include a script or draft script. Return to question 5.2

5.3 Visuals
Any visuals relating to your project. This may include mock up visuals, installation plans or designs for animated characters. No more than 2 sheets. Return to question 5.3

5.4 Your CV and other significant partners and/or your organisation.
No more than 2x A4 sheets for each CV. Please also list the name and contact details of two referees who we can contact with regards to your project. Return to question 5.4

5.5 Budget breakdown
The budget should clearly reflect the activities you have proposed and be appropriate for the scale of the project. You need to show the project has been budgeted properly and that figures are not just guesswork. Your income targets should be achievable and realistic.

Include in kind income and expenditure.

Income
Where projects anticipate generated income (through product sales etc.) independently of Lovebytes (if you are intending to promote and sell a CD Rom directly, as opposed to through Lovebytes, for instance) budgets should include income from anticipated sales. Please also include calculations for the basis of the figure given for example a CD ROM with1000 copies published with proposed 60% sale x Ł5 each = 3000)

Expenditure
Include fees, production costs, installation costs if appropriate, insurance, overheads and staff costs. Include detailed breakdown of expenditure where appropriate.

Capital expenditure is NOT eligible.

If you are planning a project, for example a CD Rom, which you plan to promote / distribute yourself, please include marketing and duplication costs.

If your organisation is registered for VAT, your budget should be based on a figure after all reclaimable VAT. Return to question 5.5

5.6 Production/Development schedule.
Give your proposed timescale for the project with any important milestones. Return to question 5.6

5.7 Support material
At this stage supply only ONE item of support material. Any other items will not be assessed. This may be, for example a VHS tape, a disc, a web site address, an exhibition catalogue from previous works, DAT tape or mini disc. Further support material may be requested if you are shortlisted. Return to question 5.7

You don't have to have made a film or produced a media project before, but if that's the case you should be able to show your ability to realise the project you want to make.

DO NOT send master tapes and keep a copy of all materials sent. No items will be returned.
