We use our five senses to filter information about the world we live in,
but perhaps touch is the most interactive. Using hands as a metaphor for 'the self' the American artist Rita Keegan has created a series of visual statements that occupy a sculptural space, carrying the viewer through layers of iconic images; flowers, water, silk, hands. Hands is a sensitive and atmospheric installation that draws upon the human emotion and experience of the viewer to inform images of the body in a sensory world. |
