Kissing brings together the ever increasing human need to collect 'in the world experiences' using technology, with the fascination of seeing our own image, and a desire for human recognition.

The kiss is a highly physical gesture that spans many emotions from friendship to passion.

An interactive 'kissing booth' has been located in the gallery to invite the audience to deliver their kisses. Using a touch-screen people can select from a data base of kisses and give a kiss back.

This imaginative and provocative interactive work calls for the essential co-operation of the audience; the more passionate your involvement the more memorable your presence will be to onlookers. The rhythmic sound of kisses with the large scale projecting evokes a sense of humour, attraction, embarrassment, sexual tension and revulsion.
