As the design brief arrived, it became clear that an environment inherent
to, and compatible with digitised colour was required. Artists set to creating
a pen and ink drawing of a suitable tech-noir landscape complete with soaring
skyscrapers, busy streets and obvious inhabitants. This image was then scanned on a flatbed scanner at 400 d.p.i in greyscale, opened in Photoshop and converted to a CMYK file for the colouring process. Corel files on a P.C. were used to create logos, signs and sheet lettering which were then imported onto the MAC, scaled and rotated to fit the appropriate perspective. |
