May be if I cultivated my window box with bonzi vegetables and herbs, I could become almost completely self sufficient - as long as I practised a strict regime of 'little-and-not-very-often' eating. I reckon, I definately might be able to do it. Perhaps and allotment would be better - but that would mean regular visits from my flat, across town to a cluster of dis-organised little plots, and all my fresh produce would be on display and open to pestilence and/or theft. Or perhaps bulk buying is the way. Stock-up with Kilo's of goods and fit a walk in freezer unit, providing me with months of food/per one shop visit. Yes, this could be it.
